JOB OFFER: MicroHabitat installation team (temporary contract from May 20th to May 24th) Dates are subject to extension if more deals are closed.

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the MicroHabitat Team, the Installation Team members facilitate the implementation of urban agriculture projects throughout their region.


Tasks and main responsibilities:

The incumbent of this position will be accepting materials of each urban production area, and be responsible for the dispatch of those materials to the defined location of the production zone and responsible for the initial setup of our production zones. 

 

Horticultural management

- Transport of materials and plants to the production area.

- Carry out the garden openings with the MicroHabitat team during the installation period.

- Ensure cleanliness is kept and maintained during installations.

- Carry out all other tasks related to the installation of the area (planting, watering, tying the tomato plants, carrying soil).


Representation and administration

- Represent the company as a member of the installation team.

- Perform all other related tasks related to the establishment of production areas.

- Follow and maintain security protocols that affect MicroHabitat farming operations.


Schedule for applications and entry into position:

- Training May 20th 2024 starting at 8:00 AM.

- Installation work begins May 21rd at 8:00 AM


Salary and Benefits:


- Salary: $ 22 / hour

- Working day varying between 4 to 8 hours / day (between 8:00am and 6:00pm)

- Paid lunch of 30 minutes / day


Skills sought:


- Must be in good physical shape

- Must have a functional cell phone 

- Must have an interest for agriculture or gardening


Requirements:


For this position, we require applicants to be willing to do the following:
